Today we are a stop on the My Control blog tour today. This novella is the latest installment in the Inside Out series by Lisa Renee Jones. We have our review and there's a tour-wide giveaway. Enjoy!
My Control Synopsis:
Mark's POV novella I have lost the man I once was, letting guilt and heartache define who I am. Darkness has controlled me, and one woman has seen what no one else has seen in me, what I do not wish to exist. My hunger for her has driven me to the edge of sanity, but no more. She's about to find out that the Master has returned.
Mark... Mark. Mark! What a character. What a man. Wealthy. Powerful. Successful. Master. Broken. Accustomed to always being in control, readers know this man well. His relationship with Rebecca, his mistakes, his acceptances. His relationship with another employee, Crystal, is similar to that with Rebecca, but Mark has learned from his mistakes.
Or has he? My Control, a short, fast-paced and tension filled novella, shows us a man in transition. The end result to the case of a missing Rebecca is about to be solved. Those involved are about to be named. And Mark is determined to not let the past repeat itself. What he did wrong with Rebecca cannot again happen with Crystal.
Talk about taut. Told from Mark and Crystal's point-of-views, their dual narration gives us a full picture of what each individual is going through. The dominant Mark may have met his match with Crystal and I need to know what happens between them in the next installment in this series. Sexy, suspenseful, and well written, this novella provides the necessary transition of character development and heightened drama as the main characters in this erotic tale race to the gripping conclusion. All I can after reading My Control is "Whoa."
A bare-chested Mark. Hmm, what more needs to be said?
