Empath and Pathcrosser to the dead, Lillian Hunt has finally come into her own as a Sentient being. All seems well in her brave new world...that is, until a tragic turn sends her tight knit Sentient group on a rescue mission through lore-infested Europe. Their goal is to save the love of Lily's life—vampire Sentient, William Maddox — from both the prejudice of their own society and the dark intentions of ancient vampires. But how will they keep hope alive, even as time runs out?

We wanted to share with everyone what is happening today and tomorrow (Oct. 9 & 10): When you purchase (or pre-order) Circle of Light
you will receive for FREE the prequel story Glimpse of Light

Yes, this the story told from the point-of-view of William (luvvvv him!) before Lillian is retrieved. William Maddox has his own story!

That's it.

I will readily admit I am a bonafide William Maddox fangurl. From his very first scene in Seers of Light, I was enamored by his quiet charm, his gentile sensibilities, his quickfire retorts, and, well, he is hot. In Glimpse of Light we hear from him about the days leading up Lillian's retrieval and the day of. His insecurities, how the others treat him, how repulsed he is by the vampires; in his subtle way, he shares his feelings and leaves a piece of his heart with his readers. He is so sympathetic, touching, intensely strong and more. I loved reading from his perspective. My only problem was this piece's brevity but, after all, it is a short story. You know an author has done an excellent job when fans are clamoring for more. Dear Ms. DeLucy, give us more William! And now, I'll start reading Circle of Light.

Favorite excerpt: "...Lily had seen me. She was smiling--our first real greeting. It was small. But it was something."

Cover comment: The title is perfect and the cover art matches the others in the series.

Book source: I received a promotional copy from the publisher in return for my honest review.
